Our Thriller has to different Locations one is in a dark room, in the present and the other out in the city, in the past (flashback)
We want to keep the lighitng in the darkroom dingy. We will use red lighting, which is already up allaround the dark room. For example in the last shot where Emily is hanging up the pictures and Simon is in the background, we want to use the red light as a spot light on her, and Simon in the shadows in the background. However we will have to test with the camera and may have to use extra lighting
In the flash back this will be filmed in black and white. We want to keep the lighting natural with the use of street lights. However it would look effective in the flash back if we were to use shadows. So this would involve having extra lighting to get this effect.

Reflecting basic understanding of noir lighting. To strengthen you could reference thrillers you have researched and have thus influenced your ideas.

Planning remains incomplete. Costume must be included.
What you have posted thus far is encouraging.
You must endeavour to keep up to date.

It would be worth your while to post all the notes you took when thriller films were analysed in class otherwise you are seriously impeding your chances of a satisfactory mark for coursework.

At this stage planning is Level 2; planning is nevertheless adequate for production to go ahead.
Evaluation of costumes and exterior locations not included.
Overall planning is basic and indicates Low Level 2.
Planning assessed at Level 2: 10/20
